I just read this: http://guerillawomentn.blogspot.com/2008/02/hillarys-accomplishments.html

And I was overwhelmed suddenly with how little I know about these people I will be voting for this fall. Do you know of anywhere online that I might be able to find something like this on all the candidates? (Where "something like this" translates into a general list of actual accomplishments, and not just what their "positions" are on various issues.)

I thought I'd ask you first since you know such things quite often. I should also address this question to the Punster.
Punny would have way more info than I would, I think. Thought hat list of accomplishments seems very biased to me. I mean, yeah, you can spin her stuff into good, but you can do that for almost anyone, so I'm not sure how useful it is overall. I think ti's more important to look at how politicians have voted int he past on issues that matter to you. Just because they have personal values that have lead them to good work sin the past doesn't necessarily mean when cash and power are on the block, that they will vote their personal conscience. Voting records say way more, I think, especially when contrasted to something like this list.
Do you have any idea where to find a list of voting records? I'm sure it is public domain or whatever. Nevermind, I'll google.

I agree that cash/power is something I'm pretty biased against Hillary over, as we've discussed, but I do think that actions speak pretty loudly and so does experience. I do think she's likely to sell out for power, but I know next to nothing about Obama except that I think I like him better, and that's not much to vote on. LOL!
You might start with:

I'm disturbed to find that as far as the voting record goes, I'm more onboard with Hillary than Obama. Weird. Very strange.
I hit post too soon. I was going to clarify and say that at least upon a rather superficial perusal. I didn't look at every single one of her votes, but she did seem to abstain less than Obama, for one thing, which I am interpreting as a positive since it seems to imply decisiveness, something I envy and admire as an indecisive person, myself.

Anyway, thanks for those links. I'll spend more time looking more closely.
